URC Mission Work

Along with the Gig Harbor, WA Bible study/fellowship, there is a Bible study/fellowship mission work in the initial stages in Ventura, CA. Both of these mission works are in the "very early" stage, so they certainly need our prayers. Pass the word along to those you may know in these areas who are looking for a solid church.

During the morning service, we will be celebrating the sacrament of the Lord's Supper, the breaking of the bread. As we look forward to this feast, we again 1) repent of and confess our sins, 2) look to Jesus in faith, and 3) desire to live a godly (God-pleasing) life. In the Supper, Christ strengthens weary Christians.

Tonight is our second study on the Psalms. Last week we did an introduction, discussing the dates of the psalms, the compsers, and so on. Tonight at 7pm here at church we'll talk about the structure and content a little more, looking specifically at a few psalms. See you there!
