New Sermon Series: Reformation Reflections

As we move in our sermon series from Exodus to a NT epistle (TBD), we'll take a few weeks to do some Reformation reflecting for our morning sermons. Stay tuned for more info; we'll be looking at the great Scripture texts that led our forefathers to loudly and clearly proclaim the doctrines of grace (the five solas, TULIP, church polity, and piety summarized in the confessions). We will start this series Sunday morning (Nov 1).

Don't forget! Rev. Kim Riddlebarger (pastor of the URC in Anaheim, CA) will be lecturing on the "Last Things" or the "End Times" in Estacada, Oregon (near Portland). The conference is this Saturday, October 17.

Winter Bible Study

For four weeks (two in November and two in December) we'll be discussing the Psalter as our Winter Bible study. If you've always enjoyed the Psalms and want an overview of them, please join us! The topics include: the structure, authorship, content, and poetry of the Psalter. We'll also study a few psalms in detail as we get a general introduction to some of the most beloved portions of Scripture, the Psalms.

Dates (tentative): November 12 & 19; December 3 & 10 (these are Thursdays)

Time: 7-8pm

Location: at the church (tentative).
